What even IS Green Waste?
Green waste comprises of two main categories: Kitchen Scraps and Garden Clippings. The aim is to compost these waste products to create healthy soil additives and redirect waste from landfill.
Products that aren't included in these types of green waste are meat products, animal bones, large branches, rocks, soil or any non organic material.

Green council bins - not suitable for kitchen scraps, only garden green waste. Also, not all councils in Australia have green bins available to residents
Local Resource Recovery Facility aka The Tip - along with general landfill and recycling bays, most tips have a garden green waste section which also take large branches.
Use a mulcher to turn branches and leaves into garden mulch
